Trump slaps ICC with sanctions after launch of probe

US President Donald Trump has authorized sanctioning individuals who are part of an International Criminal Court investigation into possible war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by American military personnel during the war in Afghanistan. The President issued an executive order authorizing his Secretary of State in consultation with the Treasury Secretary to block assets in the US of ICC employees involved in the probe.
