Looks pretty but doesn’t show anything or point to a reference for more information.

Turn the darn lights on. Nobody is going to have fun building a lawnmower never mind fusion reactor in the dark.

It would be nice to see more, but I'm glad it's in operation. I expect Commonwealth Fusion's SPARC to generate net energy in a couple of years. They'll succeed only because of what's been learned at ITER. However, I expect Helion's Polaris to generate net energy this year. Odds for Zap Energy are longer, but if that works it could be much simpler than the other systems.

So, I'm watching from far away, here from Rome. I hope that you have success and make a lot of money saving humanity from extinction. Thank you for your work. I hoped I graduated before. I'll graduate in only one year, I just wanted to help bring this future to reality.

Pls release more stuff, pls we need fusion already, I'm mostly curious about how efficient is the direct energy capture from the changing magnetic field is.

This is a really fancy way to say "welp, we tried. the project has been delayed." :D

0:49 I assume the pink flash means Polaris was just test-fired??
How much yield initially?
Are you close to breaking even?
Or DID YOU? 🙂

Does anyone know how they are dealing with neutron emissions? And where does they publish their findings?

When is POLARIS ready for Action ??
Why make a secret of it ??
We are curious people and SpaceX celebrate their strides!!
So you should do !!!

Isso vai levar uns 10 anos ou mais para funcionar. Ainda estão engatilhado.

Ok.. Nice to see but this doesn't do anything for us. Tell us what is going on. Stop with the theatrics. Show us a walk through or just stop with all the glitter.

Very cool, will there be more information published?

? Is there any updates....? Or information at all? What is the point of this

Real companies give actual information in their update videos. Close ups/quick editing videos are annoying and useless.

So of work because of the total vertical integration which couldn't be avoided.

今年こそは世界初の核融合発電実証を期待しています
あと次も作り始めた方が良いでしょう

Wow such an array of responses from yeah to quit the theatrics. I think the purpose of this video was to show that they got Polaris to the initial test phase. After all they did say they would have it running in 2024. I think they are behind schedule and that Polaris will be put to the test in 2025 perhaps 6-8 months behind schedule their goal with Polaris is net energy. 6-8 months behind schedule IS NOTHING in this Field. ITER was originally suppose to have sustained Plasma by 2018 LMAO. Now it is when 2030? or whatever their latest release says. I believe Helion will have a working reactor before ITER is even finished being built. I believe Polaris will be the first net power reactor ever built. That in itself will be an accomplishment even if they never get this to work at scale. Which by the way I believe they will. Every other fusion project out there is still relying on 19th century Tech to create power ie Steam turbine. We need to move past this to direct energy capture . That is the only way to make these plants small enough to build everywhere and to take them into space, not just as a power source but as an engine that can get us to Mars in a week not months. If Helion succeeds this will be more transformative than the Industrial revolution. All I can say is go Helion Go wait for you to let us know how testing is going.

It is exciting to see polaris coming to life!!! There is so much more work to do, but Helion has the best makeup of technicians, engineers and scientist to see Polaris succeed.
Keep pushing, You got this team! ❤

Expect numerous excuses and diversion announcements from Helion Energy

——
“Helion considered a frontrunner in the race to develop cost-effective commercial fusion power, plans to be the first company globally to achieve the significant milestone of producing electricity from its prototype Polaris reactor by mid-2024.”
