100% spot on James about emotions. I'm a psychologist in Michigan and clients hold so fast to their emotions as a barometer for truth. It's almost impossible to get folks to disengage from their emotions and accept any objective truth outside of their emotions. Keeps them stuck and prevents healing and growth. I don't hate people but I have been so broken by them I withdraw away. My family has broken me so many times and it is so hard to have the tiniest relationship with them!! I struggle!! How do you love people when uou pass the brothers and sister from church and they look right at you and act like they never saw you and wont speak!!?? I could speak but I need to see if they as in church. Its a small church We have all enteracted at some point but they know me not...Breaks my heart!!! Please reach out to the members speak to them in public!!! Or dont speak at all in church!! A couple sat near us in a theater they looked right at us and quickly turned away....we never caused trouble in Gods house and were new in Christ. Bad home lifes as children and broken adults but we needed their acceptance and love. This makes me so very sad!! Im sure there are many more who have experienced this. Why will Christians be in clicks and shun the weakest of their body??? May God help us all!!
