Amazing Mini Orange Tarts without tart pan / Kalitsounia

Not quite a cake, not quite a tart, these delicious star-shaped tartlets are filled with ricotta and orange zest.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup room temp butter -110 g
3 Tbsp sugar-45 g
1 tsp vanila extract-7 ml
1 egg
1 Tbsp sour cream instead of lard-20 g
1/8 tsp salt-3 g
2 cups all purpose sifted flour -280 g
1 tsp baking powder-7 g
Filling: 1/2 cup Drained Ricotta-120 g
2 Tbsp sugar-25 g
1 egg
Orange zest
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375 F/190 C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
In the bowl combine softened butter, sugar, vanilla.
Add 1 egg, sour cream and salt and mix.
Add flour and baking powder and knead for 2 minutes.
Place the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough.
Using a pastry ring or a glass, cut the dough in 15 pieces of about 2.5 inches (7 cm) in diameter.
Pinch the dough with your fingers to obtain the traditional star shaped. You should get 8 spikes. Seal the edges of the starts.
Filling:
Make sure to drain the ricotta of its excess liquids.
In another bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, sugar, egg and orange zest. Mix until well-combined to form the filling.
Put 1tsp ricotta mixture at the center of the star dough. Add a chocolate chip for decoration.
Bake the tarts in the preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
