Beijing Slams Manila's 'Dangerous' Move As China, Philippines Ships Collide Again In Sabina Shoal
Показать описание
The Philippines and China on August 31 accused each other of intentionally ramming into each other’s coast guard ships in disputed waters of the South China Sea. The collision near the Sabina Shoal was the fifth maritime confrontation between China and the Philippines in a month. A Chinese coast guard spokesperson said a Philippine ship "deliberately collided with" a Chinese vessel near the shoal. On the other hand, Manila alleged that CCG vessel 5205 "directly and intentionally rammed the Philippine vessel" without provocation. The incident came just a day after Beijing claimed that the Philippines and the US interfered with China's scientific research on Sabina Shoal or Xianbin Reef.
