Fraud investigation turns into warrant arrest

Ferndale police are called to a local bank for a check fraud investigation. During the course of the investigation, officers check and confirm the passenger of the vehicle has a warrant and is arrested. The other vehicle occupants are released while the fraud investigation continues.

The suspect remained honest and respectful the whole time which is good to see. He even admitted to having a little bit of meth in his back pot. I am sure the fact that he was honest about that would go along way with having much reduced charges.

I respect that the officer was like, you tell me about anything on you that you shouldn't have, and I'll destroy it. As long as people are willing to be cordial and work together, cut breaks here and there, things would be so much better.

The wonderful idiot woman on the phone was 2 seconds away from encouraging the suspect to physically resist. Kudos to the officer and the suspect for remaining respectful.

Absolute genius of a legal mind on the phone; her precognitive law ability lets her provide counsel while a potential crime is in progress since police adhere to her schedule, she says "no" repeatedly with zero context of what is happening, practices personal bias publicly, says "I AM AN ATTORNEY" so there's no mistaking her profession, her career is going to be one to watch, some say she doesn't have a corporeal form so she just exists in phones at all times

I love how the extent of that "attorney's" knowledge of the legal process is "you don't have to answer anything or provide anything unless you are being detained" and to which the officer repeatedly told her they were being detained. Then she would add another clause only to abandon it to revert back to the circle of saying no unless you are being detained. And then has the gall to curse at the officer before he hangs up on her dumb trap
