Getting Away With Murder es el tercer álbum a través de una discográfica multinacional del grupo de rock californiano Papa Roach. Su lanzamiento fue el 31 de agosto del 2004, alcanzando el disco de platino en los Estados Unidos, vendiendo más de 1,14 millones de copias, y disco de oro en Canadá. Alcanzó el puesto nº 16 en el Billboard 200. La discográfica Dreamworks Records fue vendida a la Geffen, haciendo este álbum el primero de la banda en este sello.

La producción duró de octubre a diciembre de 2003. Durante la grabación de Getting Away With Murder , la banda no firmó un sello ya que su sello anterior DreamWorks Recordshabía sido comprado recientemente. La banda luego firmaría con Geffen Records . El álbum presenta una desviación del sonido de rap metal de la banda, ya que el vocalista de la banda, Jacoby Shaddix, estaba cansado de rapear. 
La canción "Just Go (Never Look Back)" se grabó en las sesiones del álbum, pero finalmente se dejó fuera del álbum. La canción se lanzaría más tarde en el futuro álbum de grandes éxitos de la banda , ... To Be Loved: The Best of Papa Roach .

Papa Roach lanzó Getting Away With Murder el 31 de agosto de 2004. El primer sencillo del álbum fue la canción principal . El álbum debutó en el número 17 en el Billboard 200, con 52,000 copias vendidas, menos de la mitad de "Lovehatetragedy". Sin embargo, la canción principal tuvo éxito a través de la radio y alcanzó el número dos en la lista de Mainstream Rock Tracks , el número cuatro en Modern Rock Tracks y el número 69 en Billboard Hot 100. El segundo sencillo, " Scars", alcanzó el número cuatro en la tabla Mainstream Rock Tracks, número dos en la tabla Modern Rock Tracks, número 15 en Billboard Hot 100 y número siete en Pop Songs, convirtiéndose en el mayor éxito de la banda en los Estados Unidos.
