My first paycheck, my father told me... "You need to blow your first paycheck" meaning I bought food for everyone, it's not that I nuked my whole paycheck.. I bought like 4 Pizzas and cokes for everyone, cost me like 100Euros (about 120$ back then) so yeah, it wasn't anything crazy but this is what my father did too. Because it somehow prevents you to become a greedy person and you won't hold on to money for dear life.

Then I bought a Gigabyte G1.Sniper 2 for 400euros and it also was my first ever PC I've built :D and a i7 2600k I had other PCs but this was one that I build from scratch and not upgraded prebuilt.

my first paycheck went to Megadeth concert in Manila, Philippines year 2012. Heavy metal legends RARELY go our way, and Megadeth was set to play 2 weeks after my scheduled first pay. I immediately bought a ticket the same day I got my money lol

Got my first computer from my father, it was one of those big fat old yellow ones with a big fat monitor and it couldn’t read anything but floppy discs. Then I was 6 years old when I saved up enough coins in an ugly plastic bag and marched into Aldi with my dad in the back and bought my very own first laptop, a shitty Asus. But it was the greatest thing in the whole world. It could read CD’s and when minecraft got released I could play with 8FPS. Good days.

Same. I bought. A laptop cooler but it wasnt strong enough so every gaming session I would prepare 3 ice bags (for fever) and swap them in every 30mins so my dota game wont die on me

people complain that streamers/youtubers earn more than some "professionals" but honestly you can't denied the hustle, most of them started doing this when there was no chance of making good living out of it. now days a lot of people jump to this because they know what they can expect but 10 years ago it was just for passion.

I remember gaming on my hp notebook, I'd have on average 8 fps, whenever I fought with my laner, It'd drop to 4 fps, and whenever I was in a teamfight it would drop to 1 fps. Good times
