Capacitors

In this movie, we introduce capacitors, looking at the equations we use for a parallel-plate capacitor, the energy stored in a capacitor, and the role of a dielectric (a piece of insulating material we place into the capacitor). We also look closely at the two regimes under which we operate capacitors, either with it connected to a battery or disconnected from a battery.
