I actually like it. I've had the Apple clear case for iphone 13 and 14 Pro and the open bottom has never been an issue in real life, at least in my experience. I also like the buttons to be on the firm side so I don't accidentally take screen shots when I pick it up. The TPU/silicone button area on competitors clear cases is usually the first area to yellow. On the negative side, it is literally "hit or miss" as to whether or not you get a case that has a tight enough fit not to creak or make noises when using the phone. So, not a perfect clear case but better than most, especially in handling scratches and yellowing.

Personally I’ve always been a big fan of the Apple case - prefer the hard plastic to silicone which feels quite cheap.. and also found it to be the only one that doesn’t yellow over time

I won't get it because I do drop my nine and don't want to break the bottom end... that's pretty bad design. I find it annoying some never puts the drop rating anywhere

I had an otterbox clear case and swapped it out for the Apple clear case. The Apple case feels so much better, it feels like a premium product, however I agree with you about the bottom not covering the whole area, why, what were they thinking.

I had speck case in the beginning get yellowing overtime so I bought apple clear case honestly I like it and I don’t really care about fingerprints because i do have the same black phone, not bad case not heavy but downside is the case is slippery so I don’t know overtime will be better gripe or not. Overall it’s nice case

It’s open so swiping/navigating feels like no case. It does make a huge difference.

I HATEEE that the bottom is exposed. If they closed it up it would be a PERFECT 10/10 case I’m so sad

Apple has a design language with their products. I can see them leaving the bottom part of the case widely exposed, and they know it will upset a lot of consumers.

Personally, that is the only deal breaker for me buying this case, even though I like the look and anti yellowing of it.

Is it normal? Is there any proper way to insert and remove the case ?
