In this video, I'm going to talk about SOMA breathwork meditation for relaxation and stress relief. SOMA awakening technique is our most popular technique and it has different elements to it. It trains you for oxygen efficiency, and it also improves your fitness stamina and generally improves your well-being. It is a great way to also get into deep meditative states where you can actually reprogram the unconscious mind very effectively and set intentions. With this version of the meditation you will be in the state of tranquility and bliss using the 4:8 breathing pattern.

Make sure you only use your nose to breathe, even on exhale.
You do not need to take full deep breaths,
Just keep the rhythm and make sure you breathe diaphragmatically

That was amazing! The last time I tried to hold my breath after aum I did struggle with but I did a lot better, still needed a little sip of breath. I've been doing my yoga practice nearly every night so I can start my yoga teacher training and it's definitely helped me with this breath practice. I'm ready for sleep now but not in an I'm exhausted way, I feel so chilled out and floppy 😂😂. Very grateful for you taking the time to teach us this, much love and light 🧘‍♀️ 💜 💙 ❤️

Is this safe to do when you have AFib? I read that in some people holding the out breath may actually trigger AF (re. Buteyko breathing and control pauze). I would like to understand that better and know what the risks might be.

In the video he exhale trough the mouth, and also say exhale trough mouth...but in description or says exhale trough nose... How you do it?
