Brother I love you and your message! Praise JESUS ❤️. I Just listened to your message on JOY. When I experienced the most tragic time in my life when my husband, ( who professed to know JESUS) for over 40 years, confessed on Valentine’s Day he had been with another women for a very long time. I tried to reconcile for over a year and he refused to turn away from her. I had no choice but to ask him to leave. He divorced me because he couldn’t have his cake and eat it too. 😢 (His words). Praise GOD I chose JOY! Not only Jesus, but put Others and myself (You ) last ❤️. I chose to change my name back to my maiden name Cross and added Joy for my middle name to constantly remind me that Jesus considered it joy to die in my place and save my wretched soul. He endured HIS CROSS for me. HE considered it Joy so I choose to continue to follow JESUS! Thank you for your encouragement today to choose joy. GOD bless you and your ministry as you seek to draw closer to HIM and lead others to HIM!

As a Canadian who lived pretty close to Village Church I was REALLY disappointed then Mark left his city and country behind to go to Bayside. But listening to this sermon - he's going to be just like Paul: in a place where Christians can influence our culture (read: LA and Hollywood) and bring a lost culture back to God.
