From a technical perspective, how plausible is this? It seems at worst, a guy in a van will be able to transport a dirty bomb. Would that give you the mushroom cloud, or does it just take out a few blocks of a city + radiation, which can be cleaned up and moved elsewhere? What is the actual physical threat here?

You know folks we used atomic on Japan, we were the only country to do so. I feel only because America is a peaceful nation among ourselves as a whole with power as a free society governed by a Constitutional ethic we can make good choices without being scattered among each other not like other countries which have some pretty off the wall ideas on how to govern it's people. We are a responsible Nation Iran is a country where it's simply not trusted period.

If any middle east country were to produce a bomb of devastating power far worse than Japan's was. We would lose that power to control bad nations. I do not trust any middle eastern country or any country which has the same capability as we do, only because they are flat out nuts, just look around the globe we are not chopping off heads or lying about our nuclear ambitions. So whom do you trust?

But I understand Israeli concern..
If I saw the leader of a nearby government publicly demanding the extinction of my country's entire population, and said government is developing nuclear weapons capability..
Well, I'd be rather concerned and probably looking to my closest ally for backup..
