Pearl Wilson: Assistant: How old is it?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: No, new.
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Just installed a month ago
Pearl Wilson: Assistant: How long has this been going on with your Toto toilet?
Pearl Wilson: Assistant: What have you tried so far?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: the toilet works fine, except the water level is lower than I want in the bowl .
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: I have not tried anything yet
Pearl Wilson: Assistant: Anything else we should know to help you best?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: no
Mike R.: Plumber: Hi, I'm Mike and I have 20+ years of experience as a plumber.
Mike R.: Plumber: I am sorry you are having issues.
Mike R.: Plumber: I'll be glad to assist you today.
Mike R.: Plumber: If you look inside the tank is there a little tube that goes from the fill valve to the fill tube and when you flush it water comes out of the little tube and goes down the fill tube in the middle?
Mike R.: Plumber: I am sorry to say the water level in the bowl cannot be adjusted.
Mike R.: Plumber: The only water level that can be adjusted is in the tank.
Mike R.: Plumber: Any additional water that is added to the bowl just goes over the edge and down the drain.
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Ok
Mike R.: Plumber: Does that make sense?
Mike R.: Plumber: Were you able to see the image in the link?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Solids get left on the bowl after flushing.
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Ick
Mike R.: Plumber: Well that is an issue then.
Mike R.: Plumber: Was the toilet professionally installed?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: I have four of these toilets and they all have the same issue
Mike R.: Plumber: Were they professionally installed or did you install them?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: A plumber installed them.
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: new house
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Could it be a water pressure issue?
Mike R.: Plumber: When you flush the toilet does the water raise in the bowl before it goes down?
Mike R.: Plumber: No but if you have water pressure issues I can help you with that too.
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: the water swishes to the top
Mike R.: Plumber: You have two floors or a ranch style house?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Residue is left, even after more than one flush.
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Three are ground level.
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: one is on the second floor
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Two floors
Mike R.: Plumber: The second level one flushes better?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Nope, the same
Mike R.: Plumber: These toilets have hidden floor bolts?
Mike R.: Plumber: The sides are smooth?
Mike R.: Plumber: That toilet is a little different than most.
Mike R.: Plumber: It comes with a mounting bracket that attaches to the floor and the flange then the toilet is seated in that mount.
Mike R.: Plumber: The installer either did not align the mount with the flange or did not align the toilet properly with the mount.
Mike R.: Plumber: This is what the mount looks like.
Mike R.: Plumber: They had to have noticed that the bowl water was raising when they flushed it after installing it.
Mike R.: Plumber: Anyway the installer has some work to do.
Mike R.: Plumber: The toilets should flush normally and the water in the bowl should not raise before it goes down.
Mike R.: Plumber: That is an immediate sign there is a blockage.
Mike R.: Plumber: Maybe there were too many words in the directions and not enough pictures.
