Yes Democrats have been in charge because the GOP has been supporting horrible presidential candidates. It trickles down. Plus the GOP was in charge of this state for 25 or so years prior to that and guess what we still paid the highest back then too. If you go back to the 80s-90s, there were many republicans wanting to make ct energy independent, they weren’t taken seriously then. Now we have what we have.
