It hurts my heart that he can’t run around but it warms my heart that he’s loved and cared for.

Throughout many years of rescue work I often ended up keeping the ones that were handicapped/special needs...usually deformed limbs, missing limbs, neurological disorders. And I take every opportunity to tell people that those babies are just as wonderful as "normal" pets & so very worthwhile. They are just as precious in every way.

Thank you for giving sweet Butters a loving home. Sincere gratitude & much love from Kentucky.

It truly breaks my heart to see any cat with a disability. I have to remind myself that if they were born with this than they don’t know what they’re missing. And even then I’m still saddened. I wish they could help the little guy. He’s got such a beautiful coat!
