Municipal Nominee Program was mandated to Mendicino in 2019. It was again included in the Mandate letter for #SeanFraser in 2021
The stakeholder consultations for this program were concluded in 2020.
It covers 2 important factors that Canada has been troubling Canadian Immigration objectives for some time.
Spread immigration to areas away from the urban centers
Cater to the labor shortages in rural areas.
It is expected that this program will be allocated 5000 slots.
Being a federal program, it will cover all provinces (except Quebec due to the Canada-Québec Accord)
So, in my opinion, tomorrow's new PR Pathway announcement may well have to do with finalizing and formulating "The Municipal Nominee Program".
It does tick all the boxes that the minister has been indicating in recent appearances.
Further, with regards to Bill C-19, the minister himself has indicated during a few recent appearances that a lot of work needs to be done and that is slated for the 2nd half of the year.
Also, BillC19 implementation will NOT really be a new federal PR Pathway, it will just be a change in the existing pathway.
So I guess, then that leaves us with the Municipal Nominee Program as the best contender.

People above 490 are CEC + PNP
But there are also people with higher age, CEC between 400-490.
To sum up, clear all CEC first may be with a condition that they are currently in Canada.

My CRS score is 484, profile submitted on June 9th 2022. And I was married in Dec 2022 but did not add my spouse to the EE profile yet as score drops.
Will it give an option to update marital status and choose not accompanying option after receiving an ITA?

Why can't FSW people fall in category-based draw like Health? From where will Feds bring Health people if it isn't from overseas FSW? Regarding FSW draw one thing you failed to explain is where did all those Health draw of OINP came from? Almost all the people that were drawn from OINP were FSW candidates with no connection with Canada. If there are just 700-800 Health people from score 467 to 489 you just imagine if Feds starts to conduct bill c-19 draw only people that might be benefitted will be FSW health people. There are almost no health people in Canada with license to practice or Canadian health degree people that do not have PR.
In short, if your experience and job is related to health, FSW people should not worry at all.

U.S.A. has now allowed visitor visa holders to apply for jobs while in U.S.A. but they can start work only after the visitor visa is converted to employment visa. I hope canada also may think about this ?
