Android Annotations is a library that aims to make developing and maintaining android applications easier by generating some of the "boilerplate" or "plumbing" code for you at build time based on easy 1 line annotations that you write in your code. This video will show you how to set up a project with Android Annotations.

this might help somebody else, but for my case, i had to restart eclipse right after specifying compiler factory path to get the annotations to work.
