5% Off Code Below. If you're serious about home or small business cellular internet, this is the ticket! The Peplink Balance 20x has a built in CAT7 cellular modem, flexmodule mini expansion bay, 5x gigabit ethernet ports (up to 2x WAN and 4x LAN) as well as a USB WAN port for a combined total of 5 WAN options. This allows speedfusion bonding of different WAN's to greatly increase your WAN speed as well as have seamless failover and redundant SIM's. It has a built in Wifi 5 with mesh capability. The flexmodule has options for vDSL, LTE cellular, 5G cellular and others. All the cellular options have external SMA antenna ports that can use the provided antennas or connect to an external antenna like Waveform's 2x2 or 4x4 MIMO antennas. Waveform provided this product for me to do testing and video.

$200 per optional WAN port. It better make me coffee every morning! 🤷‍♂️😁

Interesting I can’t wait to see the video. I’m currently using the Peplink BR1 Pro 5G with my Verizon home internet SIM card. And a t mobile business internet SIM card as failover. Works great!

Hey Nate, can I use two 2x2 antennas from waveform instead of one 4x4 with the Peplink?

Looks like a quality piece of hardware. Do you have any issues swapping out my old trash can T-Mobile SIM with this?

Hey Nate! Well this product sounds exciting but definitely out of my pay grade lolo. That won't stop me from watching though. Your videos always straight forward and most informative. I'm still with T-mobile trashcan and now ordered a Firewalla Purple SE to go between the trash can ( as a firewall/router)and my TP Link router that I'm changing to just an access point. Wonder if you had any experience with the Firewalla devices? Stay well ! Anthony ( back from total knee replacement)

Curious to see your tests. My experience when combining connections like that has been not great. Single connection use cases (gaming) seem to be luck of the draw on which ISP you get load balanced to. There didn’t seem to be too much intelligence to the load balancing. Speed and ping consideration seemed to be ignored.

Multi connection applications on the other hand were great and the throughput on downloads was boosted greatly.

I've just started using T-Mobile and not really wanting to tear into their gateway. I have tried and damaged it, but want an external antenna. Do they make a modem that does this? I will use my mesh router.

Can't wait to see this play out! I have a local fixed wireless internet provider near my property called consumer internet provider or CIP. Since they guarantee me 30 Meg up and down, I'm going to go with them for stability. But I am very close to a T-Mobile 5G cell, and at the very least a 4G. The problem is, I have 40 ft tall trees all around me. I even had to pay a forestry company to come in and just clear out enough to get my barn in. I'm hoping that something like this will allow me to put up a tower, get CIP in there, and possibly hang some 4x4s off of it too so that I can get T-Mobile and bond it to that connection. It sounds like this device might be the perfect fit if it works.

I would buy this if someone could figure out a way to get the T Mobile home internet sim to work. The
gateway that they provide sucks, .especially in my area because the signal is weak and I can't bandlock. Thankfully my neighborhood is supposed to be getting AT&T fiber in the next four months so hopefully can ditch cellular.

Well, this might be a good solution to the T-Mobile business router being on lockdown, and unable to easily put into bridge mode without a software hack. The redundancy option is pretty cool. Have you ever tried using a Google Fi data only SIM card?

Would this setup work for a small business? It’d be one computer for sure in use everyday & possibly a second. Sorry if it’s a vague question, I’m not tech savvy at all 😅

Is there a cheaper way to have a dual Wan failover with a router and using 2 gateways? That might be better for most of us with more limited resources. What router would you suggest?

Would this fix the issue with cg-NAT with T-Mobile home internet?

Nate does the T-Mobile trash can have a M.2 Form X-55 Snapdragon card in it for its 5G cellular radios? Thanks.

Great video. Really like the features, but frankly the price, 600+700 bucks, shocked me. Just wondering do you know any other similar routers that can do similar things but come with a lower price please? Thanks.
