There are so many invisible pokestops and gyms in my area, so I have to go to the nearest park almost 3-4km away to just spin 2 pokestops and -1 gym

I hit level 40 on 12/12/18 and stopped playing in 2019.. got back into it about 6 months ago and it’s insane how much you need to grind to hit 50.

Oh well.. i spoofed during covid.. was locked in my house and wanted to still play the game as my village only had 4 stops and a gym

I never spoofed but I have a friend that did for two weeks straight once I seen the advantages he was obtaining from cheating I immediately gave up playing altogether losing interest i started playing two years later once me and all my friends agreed to play but never spoof it all was fun and still is today for all of us it’s crazy now I think about those years back then no shame to who does spoof it’s just not my thing and my friends including the one who spoofed said the same thing fleece king said “I felt bad about it and felt like I was cheating”

I spoofed too once in the early days to get a Mr mime. He is one of my favorite pokemon and being in the US couldn’t get it. Wouldn’t risk it now though that I’ve put so much time money into it. I still have that Mime from Germany

I almost tried spoofing, and i just hate because all your pokemon become invalid, cus you did nothing to get them

Yeah I had a spoof account and to be honest it doesn’t make you feel as accomplished as you would playing regularly

Why would people cheat in a fitness game? It’s not like your becoming anymore healthier plus it feels less rewarding when you find rare Pokémon

I dont really see the problem with spoofing though. Like I know many who live in small towns that only have one pokestop, let alone any gyms. So they can't even really play, but then you go to Chicago, LA, or new York and you can access a gym and pokestops from your bedroom. So I don't really see a problem. It's a way for people who have a hard time location wise to actually play the game. And so what if you spoof for a raid, you are still playing.
