differences are notable but the most significant thing for me is the fact that you can still play the game on a 10yo headset and STILL getting new updates and playing with friends who has others platforms. every platforms. incredible

The last update helped a ton. It's not the cleanest looking PSVR2 game but it does enough for me. Clear and sharp when you are close and definitely a blast playing on PSVR2 now ❤

Funfact: No Man's Sky is one of the few games where even its PS4 version (PSVR 1) runs considerably better on the PS5 (PSVR 2) than on the base PS4 or PS4 Pro, not many VR games have received a patch for the PS5 without necessarily having a native version for the console. (the only other one I can remember is Zenith The Last City)

So, if you don't have the money for a PSVR 2 at the moment but you have the original PSVR and a PS5 you will get higher resolution, better frame-rate, better draw-distance, better shadow quality and better texture quality than playing on PS4 or PS4 Pro.

Obviously it's not as good as the native PS5 version with PSVR 2 (that does feel like a true generational leap) but I find it interesting how even with the original PSVR you still get better quality on PS5 in some games.

im glad i waited for psvr 2 to start playing this game.
i hated psvr 1 valve index and quest but psvr 2 feel pretty good and games look very nice in it

anyone who actually played the vr version on the ps5, knows that the pictures through the lens are much worse than the recordings. the game appears to run at 720p or less in vr.
