I got to say that David Blaine is probably my favourite magician in that list. I think he was the one who really pushed forward and turned the public idea of magic from large stage shows, props and special effects/edits, and made it into the more humble (still incredibly cool) artform it is today. His 'Street Magic' special was the first public rendition of 'simple' card/coin magic that were so personal and intimate that they blew people's minds more than seeing, say, a lady cut in half on TV or even on stage.

I like, out of the available choices, David Blaine. I find his ability to improvise, after a trick has gone wrong inspiration. The fact that he can make it flow and believable to the audience is what I find brilliant.

I like Blaine because he makes Magic less interactive in terms of talking, he makes all his tricks extremely deep and creepy which is such a unique way of manipulating and getting into the heart of the viewers.
