This review was perfect. I have the original Khet and really enjoyed it. I was curious to see how much had changed between that one and this version.

Get some water vapor or smoke around the board before firing the lasers and the game would look a lot cooler!

Hmm... this one got me thinking: What about a video of Top 10 Games Without Randomizers.  Games like Khet, Yinsh, Go, Hive, Stratego, etc.

I played this with my 10 yr old son and we had a chance to pick up a discounted copy.  We ended up passing on it, even though we enjoyed it.  We found it just too long to complete a game for the amount of time we have to play.

You should have used talcum instead of turning off the lights. That way one can see the lase trajectory.

Actual lasers?! I remember seeing a game at the store once that was like this but there was no lasers, you had to just track where the laser would go to figure out if you won

Plenty of variation with just the three different setups! Think about regular chess that has only ONE starting configuration

I love my copy of Deflexion, but this new version is a lot more portable.
