Scott needs to reupload this video with a yellow border.

I honestly used to have my GameCube games separated between normal and the Player's Choice ones lol

As a European, watching you show all these American designs is like peeking into a parallel universe

Little did us fans know; Scott has been planning the Game Packaging Movie for over two years. This was the trailer for his masterpiece.

I am forever grateful for "players choice" editions of games. My parents would hate buying me pricey $60 video games, but to have all these awesome games in the $20 bin at walmart was a blessing. It pretty much saved my childhood, or else I don't think I'd have the chance to play the games I wanted.

I just realized i just watched a whole rant about spines

Fun fact: in New Zealand, if a console is reaching the middle or end of its life, stores will usually face the bulk of its games with the spine facing out to maximise shelf space. Only killer app games or a single 'stack' of a big name game will be displayed front-facing. Therefore, for the Player's Choice games, an altered spine would *indeed* be a selling point, as games stores were not a Thing here until the last few years, and shelf space in video shops and warehouse-style shops is always at a premium.

This was especially useful for the DS, where our PAL region casings meant you could only stack two or three games front-facing compared to four or five spine-facing.

Scott in 2018 talks about game spines for 12 minutes
Scott in 2020 talks about game cases for 45 minutes
Scott in 2022 ???

You and indiejacob would make great buds. You both are very obsessive about graphic design and it's great hahaha; but honestly you make some really good points that I never really paid attention to! Nice vid dude; good to see ya back :)

Scott always has the best mentality:
He has a burning hatred for something that seeps into his soul, but it’s okay he’s not going to lose sleep at night over it.

This is literally an unironic rant about how re-releases disrupt box art consistency. And I watched the whole thing.

Actual suggestion for the PS3 games

Separate the new and old logos, then but the in alphabetical order

9:37 a copy of Sonic 06 with “platinum hits” on it just shows that the “platinum hits” collection has no real credibility in terms of what’s considered good

"Hey Nintendo! Why'd you have to make Player's Choice so lame?"
"Well sir, it was the Player's Choice."
"Oh God... Wii did this!"

This seems like a dumb argument, but then again, I have nothing to use as a counter-argument.

9:07 I've seen this video like 8 times and I just realized "the box art has a bo(a)rder" is a pun. GG, Wozniak.

3:53 I cry myself to sleep at night picturing how long it would take my good Woz to edit this.
