Yes bookstores are expensive but buying from Amazon or Target like their goal is to get rid of brick and water bookstores especially independent bookstores that’s why everything is so cheap! For now anyways because once they shut bookstores down prices will skyrocket.

The Target in Staten Island has a HUGE book section and there's a BN within walking distance. I love going there.
