This is one of the jobs that the AI will refuse to do after it becomes self aware

So will prices get lower? A hamburger by itself shouldn't be $12.00

And the cost of living is still high. And nobody is questioning that. Wow.

"Waiter, there's a bug in my soup!"
"Don't worry, I'll get our in-house software dev to patch it out!"

The robots have arrived and the jobs have left. But good news, when a Karen demands to speak to a manager, the Terminator comes out.

The guy flat out lied when he said we’re not seeing that it is costing people their jobs.

I don't think this is real AI technology. The work flow in this resturant doesn't use any training model to improve these robot's skils. They just do the same things repeatedly. You can only call it as an automated restaurant like a factory but without the AI factor. Ideally, from my perspective, an AI restaurant can not only run these work flows automatically, but also improve their skills and solve new problems in the future. For example, a counter robot can handle drive through orders very well even if it couldn't at first.

Well.. those robots ain't cheap either, they take energy and maintenance to run them.

Putting aside the implications of AI, am I the only one creeped out by the face scanning? The restaurant will remember your face, what your favorite food is, when you've been there, and your payment method. Seems like a privacy concern...

This is why I'm getting into robot repair

A robot can't tell if a bug or something gets in your food, so it will get cooked to

These robots will become so advanced, they will soon spit in your food.

This restaurant literally has zero artificial intelligence. Zero. This is robotics.

This should lead everyone to one conclusion... these jobs are barely fit for humans standing in a box 8+ hours defrosting sludge from the factory. There is no love or cooking done here. The industry deserves to be automated, and all the jobs lost will be worth the efficiency.

Idk, we literally do not have this problem at Chick-fil-A tbh. We have people working the friers all the time.

I swear to God, if I go to pay and the robot at the counter flips an ipad around and asks me to leave a tip...

All the moving parts look like an absolute nightmare to properly clean and keep sanitary.

I'm glad she's enjoying that burger but they're going to eventually come for her job and replace her with an AI news reporter😂

It makes sense now, we are paying high prices now so that the companies can invest in A.I. now and then later people will lose access to that job. Interesting.
