“Now to Him”

Jude closed his letter to Christ’s followers with a doxology praising the splendor and sovereignty of the one true and timeless God. Wrapping up a study in Jude, Alistair Begg explains why our knowledge of God shapes the way we worship Him and directs how and why we share the Gospel with others. Like Jude, those who have experienced God’s mercy and salvation should be driven to humbly declare His glory to a predominantly lost and self-focused world.

Father, through your Son Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit please give me strength to keep going because I want to give up. Please hear my prayers. I trust in you and keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children and myself. As a single mother things are so hard on me. Both of my sons are autistic I’m overwhelmed. I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent and now that I’m home schooling my sons I’m struggling to buy their school supplies. But even in hard times we must choose to have faith. As christians that’s all we can do. No matter your struggle, we can turn to God. He knows us personally and can give us strength to overcome our challenges. Keep trust in our Lord he will always provide Walk with faith.

Jesus never came down here to gain our sympathy or trigger our sentimentality. He completed a set task and did it very well.

12:05 the insane part is there are actually so many churches like these where it actually happens, but people are so trapped in denominations that the won’t go to a church that puts the presence of God as first priority.
