I knew this is school but when I got home I always thought my answer looked funky, because if you solve them you get things like 16x^2+-20xy etc.... but I realized you don't solve these. Thanks man seeing it cleared it up for me.

a^2+b^2 can be turned into a^2-(-b)^2 and then apply the rule it's just not all of the values will be positive necessarily.

I have a question. Is it important to know where should i put the negative and positive sign? I mean. should i put it on the first term or second term? I'm confused :( because in your video of factoring the difference of two squares example 1, you put negative first in your answer but here in example 2 you put positive first. please answer me huhuhu. :(
