Slavery has existed since the beginning of humanity. Individual rights is a modern concept. We should be celebrating how far humanity has come. And the first slaves that came to the United States came here in 1618 and they were from Britain, and they were white. There was a eight year old white girl that tried to escape and was whipped to death.

It’s interesting that nobody ever talks about the slave traders of Africa. They kidnapped and beat to a literal pulp black men from tribes throughout the continent so they would obey. I wonder if anyone from Benin was punished, of course not and statues of slave merchants still stand and families of those merchants are wealthy and thriving to this day.
