In the only ever campaign I was able to play, which was so fun, one of the characters had a special deck of playing cards. Each card had a random effect that he could not know beforehand, but 99% of the time they were harmful effects. They could only be used once. Those cards both saved our asses a lot and nearly gave us a TPK thanks to a series of bad rolls. Seriously fun to play with that guy.

DnDShorts I hope you see this, my dm had us fight a 150hp wraith that can cast fireball every turn as lvl 3s. He forgot that my rouge had an amulet with 3 charges that when one is expended it can cast turn undead. Since turn undead has no cr limit, the op boss turned into an undead punching bag.

would you suggest personalizing the wild magic table for a sorcerer? I really want to play a wild magic sorcerer, but not that big a fan of the generic effects that can happen
