I was so nervous at his fight so I kept messing up and ended up seeing all these mockings on my first playthrough😂 (also found out that dying in this fight won't low Temmie Armor’s price because all of this happens in Flowey’s save file, not our own.)

Flowey is not expecting you to die so much or for the souls to revolt so he pretty much thinks you're strong enough to keep fighting him until he says "Hey, bro, it seems like I have save files so you can't beat me and will be stuck in this hell forever"
