AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY CAST ANNOUNCED | A Bloated Mess?!

Today was a BIG day for Marvel: with them spending over 5 hours showing empty chairs in a room as their way of building hype for the AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Cast Announcements... what a time to be alive. Here's what we heard, and my thoughts.

The reason why infinity war and endgame worked was because they had a roadmap built into it, phase 4 and 5 has been a blind person throwing stones at a tree, some hits the fruit, most dont even touch it. Ofcourse everyone knew RDJ as doctor doom was desperation.

'Bowl' is the perfect analogy. When I was a child, food courses were prepared on a plate and separated into an attractive arrangement. One selected bite combinations that complimented flavors. Peas went to the dog under the table. Bowls like troughs contain slop. Great breakdown. Thank you, SJ!

Michael Shannon was so right when he said how he felt when they called him back for The Flash. He said something like: this movie plot is like a little kid playing with all his action figures in nonsensical adventures.

Before they make a movie with many heros they need to make ONE good hero movie again and build from there

Whether you loved it or hate it, the reason Endgame worked was because every movie leading up to it interconnected with the overall story to varying degrees. Everything post Endgame that I've seen hasn't really done that, whether it's the films or the shows. Throwing in familiar faces isn't going to help unless you incorporate that same connection from the Infinity Saga.

Infinity war had a fantastic screenplay. Making Thanos the main character helped balance a lot of the heavyweights.

funny how you need so many heroes to fight Dr. Doom, when in reality only Fantastic 4 were all you "need" for this villain

They're going to do a repeat of End Game where all the women are tightly clustered in one tiny area of giant battlefield to do a team up!

Avengers Infinity War and Endgame had hundreds of cast and they still managed to make them coherent and entertaining. The only problem with Doomsday and Secret Wars is: they're preceded by a series of flops and bombs. Following the characters and backstories feel like doing homework now. Back in the day, people were invested in the MCU. Watching previous movies was a lot of fun and super entertaining.

If this movie is based off Secret Wars, than having this many superheroes makes sense but they should make it into a TV series instead because Secret Wars can't be told in one or two movies
