Im Palestinian, mtDNA through ancestry DNA says my ancestors are Canaanites/ Phoenicians. And the regular DNA says I’m 50% from the levant. My family did not marry outside of Palestine except the last 150 years ago. And thus the rest of my DNA shows genes from those great grand parents. No Jewish DNA was found. I guess because my ancestors are the Canaanites.
