For the Mandala yarn, a few other options would be to donate the yarn or sell it in your destash sale this summer since you don’t like the colors. This summer, I am planning to knit shortie socks, the Rockerfeller Center tee, and the Musselburgh hat.

I definitely think the knitting for olive yarn for the tank top. I think the variegated colors would kind of make those small cables disappear. I agree with you on that green. It is a cool green that I would buy, and I have a cool under tone to my skin. You probably won’t love working with the linen. Linen softens up dramatically with use and washing. If you find yourself very unhappy with the knitting experience with the linen, ball up some and just use it like a stress ball and squish it over and over and over and it will start to soften, and it will be more pleasant to knit with.

I am going to knit the Lumme Tee by Sari Nordlund and Sommer Ella by Le Knit Drops Belle. It will be the first time trying the yarn. I hope I like it! 😊

I made a bright raspberry Tolsta tee with Coboo last year, it wasn’t my favorite yarn texturally, but the resulting fabric is so soft and squishy. I’ve already gotten several wears out of it this spring! That buttercup yellow is so pretty.

I can’t wait to see your Flutter Buttshirt and shorts. The color is amazing. I have made several things with the Cascade Ultra Pima Cotton which is dk. The first thing i made was the Autumn League Pullover and i can put it in the washer and dryer and it never changes. It’s like a sweatshirt. 😊

I have the Milly cardigan and really enjoy it! It's a great transitional piece.

Also I've knit with Cascade Pima cotton and really enjoyed it. I knit a fitted tank in it and it really hasn't changed shape at all! I've worn it a lot and the yarn still looks great.

The more you wash the linen, the softer it will become. I don’t always love knitting with pure linen but the result is worth it even though it’s rough and not terribly elastic. I also wash and dry (gasp) my cotton knits because the dryer will shrink it back a bit.

Some very pretty designs here! Also, totally with you on the colour choices - out with the beige! I'm going to natural dye some linen yarn this weekend to start a tank top, fingers crossed it comes out ok 😅

So exciting to get new stuff in and think about summer-y knits. Currently working on a Hippolyta’s Cover-up in Noro Sonata Jade for my mother in law, and a cloud tee in KFO cotton merino - like a dusty gray color (idk the color way name). Have to say I’m loving the cotton Merino a lot… might be a new go to for me 😅
