Mercedes AMG E63 S Wagon vs Audi RS6 Avant | The Better Wagon?

The Mercedes AMG E63 S Wagon has been around for a couple years now and is known as the defacto wagon among all its competitors. The E63 S Wagon is fitted with a v8 engine that makes over 600 horsepower and 600 foot pounds of torque. All that power, mated to a 9 speed MCT transmission, makes the E63 S wagon the ability to play with supercars.

The Audi RS6 Avant is finally back and available in the United States. The RS6 Avant is extremely aggressive looking and have all the latest technology from Audi. Mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission the RS6 avant comes back with a 4 liter v8 engine making close to 600 horsepower and torque. The RS6 avant is ready to be pitted against the E63S but how does it compare in the real world. Things like cargo space are more often utilized versus all 600 horsepower in these powerful wagons.

Excellent video! You mentioned both the AMG and RS only come awd. Correct, however the AMG has drift mode. Activate it by going into race mode, disable traction, and pull both paddles back at the same time. This will lock the AMG in rear wheel drive mode.

I think you mixed up the legend at around 5:25 talking about interior room. The RS6 car is blue, and the blue bars on the chart are either tied or longer, and you said the RS6 bests the E63 in several categories, but the legend says that the E63 bars are blue but the RS6 bars are gray, which implies that the E63 actually has more room.

The 0-60 mph numbers for the AMG E63S, which he's telling in this video, are quite underrated. Everybody knows, that in reality these numbers are heavily "conservative".
Many customers have shown, that it's more like a 2.9 seconds at normal temperature conditions and with fresh tires on it. "Only" 3.4 seconds propably are the numbers at wet conditions with this car... It's like for "worst condition" scenarios.

I’m getting the E63 and when my wife wants to trade in her A7 we will get the RS6.
The RS6 looks the absolute business!
But the E63 is the ultimate sleeper, I dive more than her, and we have a Great Dane who loves to go with me, and the E63 has more space in the boot.

I do not want an SUV period as I have a F250 if I need to carry more than these vehicles can carry.
