First lap of race 4, eFXC, Wakefield Park 2015

It was a tough weekend for Pottz and the Voltron machine, with rain all day Saturday and rather shagged tyres. A crash in race 3 due to a lack of rear grip kind of proved the point. However a financial lifeline on Sunday afternoon saw a fresh set of Metzlers go on just in time for race 4. Pottz equaled the previous eFXC lap record of 1.09 but Jason Morris on the Varley machine pulled a couple of impressive 1.07s. Well done to the Varley guys, who have finally solved the electrical gremlins which would constantly sabotage their races. Well done to Ripperton for setting the pace in the wet, and David Hiley on the Zero who was pulling 1.14s by day's end. See you all at Winton!
