Gonna give brief thoughts about the creatures newly introduced in this batch of 17 episodes.

Albertonectes: pretty cool addition. It’s cool to have another plesiosaur. I like the coloring especially the purple. Though it’s held back by it having its neck out of the water, flying in that one episode, and a lack of screen time. Seriously this guy couldn’t get 30 seconds.

Elasmotherium: Probably my favorite creature in Dino Dex. It has good screen time, a great design, solid episodes, and it’s always cool to have another prehistoric mammal in the line up.

Dire Wolf: I like it. The coloration works for it, it had some cool moments like breaking down the door, and the model looks pretty decent. Though I wish it hadn’t only appeared in imaginary episodes and we got to see it pack hunt.

Megalodon redesign: Another one that didn’t get much screen time, but it’s a better return than Meganeura at least. It was also cool to see it attack the sub. Though like its previous appearances it’s held back to only being in the water. So it can’t get many moments to shine. I like it tho.

Also I’m not counting the colossal squid since it’s a real animal, or the Dino world species since they didn’t get actual physical appearances. It would be cool if all the latter species showed up though.
