Listening to what you said about winter - I am in Dorset, UK, and this is a farm - it is green - quite ridiculously green - we had that snow the other day, but down here that means when it is gone the grass is supercharged underneath - the trees are anything from red to black and the leaves that are left are the yellow ocher shade - I am lucky enough to live near the harbour also, and so from the farm, I can see the sea - sea views have looked way more 'wintery' greys to me than the land ones the last week or so with the sea a sludgy brown grey! But the sundowns over the sea have been pale oranges with the mornings purply orange - Dorset doesn't have the mountains or wild moorlands and this stretch is Chesil Bank and not craggy cliffs - it will look bleak when it wants to, but it is still a very colourful green looking at my fields and inland right now :)

Seeing as I’m at that point in the stream (50:05), we should all do a no buy month together (no shame for crumbling tho). Let’s make it Feb as it’s short 😂

Brilliant I really enjoyed this today. I discovered I like to make collage from swatches and random brush wipe paper or things that I do on loose paper and can't work out why I would want to store or where and I am always surprised when ripping them up and reassembling produces something else that seems to mean something - it definitely isn't something I ever have preconceived ideas how it should be, and if I am disappointed in some other art attempts and put off then collage is my way back in again - no ego at all :)
