LEGO Technic Ford Raptor F-150 Full RC Mod

I have modified the LEGO Technic Ford Raptor 42126 to be fully remotely controlled! This mod requires two powered up L motors, one technic hub, and one medium linear motor (found in lego boost). This car still maintains most of the original functionality.

Many people new to lego sets, including myself. Have many questions about how to modify and rebuild our sets to be motorized as well as a list of parts we may need. Making videos for this purpose will definitely help out thousands of people.

I love the placement of the control + hub in the try so looks like it’s transporting something

Very clever mod - well done I love it. It's such a better model now and looks like it drives incredibly well. Great placement of the the hub too - very natural to be on the back 🙃

Anyone know where I can find step by step instructions on how to motorize this? I’m a huge Lego fan but never motorized any. My dad has an actual raptor being built in the same color and we’d love to modify the Lego version.

The lego technic Ford raptor F-150 is now even much better because it has electronics now. Very great idea! And also, I have another idea with the Lego Ford raptor F-150: the lego technic hub cannot make any sound effects but the lego Mindstorms Robot Inventor hub can make sound effects. You can program the lego mindstorms hub to play car-related sound effects for your lego Ford raptor vehicle. That will be even much awesome.

Lego needs to just make an RC receiver and transmitter for these technic kits.

That's awsome! Is there a way that you could show how to keep the pistons and put the L motors somewhere else? Or would that not work?

You should add diff lock that would be so COOL

Is there any partslist I could use to do this myself?

Great modification for that vehicle! Was it worth it to replace the piston engine with the motors, instead of putting the motors somewhere else and keeping the piston engine?

I motorized this like you did but when I tried the code it didn't work, so after a while I saw this other YouTuber who motorized this showed the code and it worked for me the code was on the powered up app and was only 2 SHORT lines 1 for the powertrain and 1 for the steering mechanism but thank you because I placed the motors the same place you did but just different code

Hey I am new bee in Lego world and your mod video amazed me. I am more interested in the modification you made. Could you do a detailed video of transferring from a traditional v6 to motors and the thing with L+R controls and the Hub?

Hey, I like to ask you, are there any plans on reviewing the sets using the Racers RC System from 2002-2003?
