If you've got a Dewalt tool battery that won't charge, this video will guide you through the 3 methods to get it to work again. The first method is to make sure the battery is properly seated on the charger. The second method is jumping a low battery with another good battery. Finally, the third method involves resetting the CID (current interrupt device). Unless your battery is chemically or physically defective, one of these methods should guarantee that it will charge once again.

If you're looking to fix a Dewalt battery that won't charge, then this video is for you!

WARNING: Resetting the CID is not recommended under any circumstances! Catastrophic failure and destruction of the battery and surrounding property is a real possibility if the CID "tripped" in order to stop an internal short. Resetting it can cause the battery to enter into "thermal runaway".

When you point "my ryobi video here" there's nothing there for some people, you should put the links below your video. BTW that dewalt boost trick also works if you use a 9v battery to boost the battery that's not charging. At least that's what I used. All I did was touch the connectors 2-3 times and it worked. Meaning I didn't even leave them connected for 5 seconds
