Radon is a gas the comes up from the ground and goes in your house only way you know if you have a radon is by getting it tested they set a radon machine in your house for 48 and monitor it and if the reading is over 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) you need a radon mitigation system

First thing we did when we bought our house was test for radon. We were way above the safe living level so had to install pumps and fans to make it livable.

It gets cut off but they determined the radiation was in fact from him microwaving his butt plugs and using them too much. Those pesky microwaves produce so much radiation nowadays it’s crazy.

I just installed a radon thing in my basement a few months ago. The highest rating I got in my basement was 18.3 & upstairs in my office 13.2.
With the radon unit it’s barely 2 consistently.
