The problem is that you can’t see behind the drywall to know when the anchor is fully engaged. But yes the video is a great example of how they work

Im pretty sure the red-grey one isnt meant for drywalls but for harder materials like stone, bricks etc.
Thats why it doesnt have a large expanding backplate or the like to hold it in drywall. As you can see the anchor expands over its whole lenght. This method is more effective in thicker walls made out harder materials, because with weaker stuff like drywall theres a chance of the anchor just ripping out the surrounding drywall with it if theres too much weight on it. In stronger materials the widening anchor will fill up the hole it is in and press itself againt the sides of the hole, creating a lot of force that holds it in place.

That’s cool when it’s pexi glass and you can see through it and know when to stop. For the most of us we tend to over tighten and the plastic just strips.
