Just FYI, you can do most of these after settling down too. Hell, you can do lots of them even after having kids, though it will be harder. Life is not a race, and you haven't "lost" if you don't get it all done before 25, so don't be anxious, you have plenty of time :)

It's funny how one of the things is to learn to drive manual while in the uk if you drive automatic you are seen as a failure of a driver

People are missing the point of this video, when they see "Settle Down" the instantly think "Families, kids, stay at home mom, 9 to 5 working dad." No by "Settle Down" this video means before you decide take it easy in your life and reflect back and say "Hey, I did it all." Is what this videos intentions are, to find who you are independently. Be fruitful my people, we live this life once.

I've done like half of these. I'm 15. How on Earth does one go about living their lives and not having done this by the time they're 25? I've stayed up 'till sunrise, I've watched entire tv shows, I've made a list of books and read them, I can cook some mean spaghetti and tons of dishes from Eastern Europe, I've faced my crippling fear of spiders, I've accomplished goals, I've made the first move, I know my drink of choice, I've challenged myself, I've gotten fit, I've tried a nice restaurant by myself, I've built something with my hands, I've volunteered, I've tried new hobbies, I've kept a journal, I've had long conversations with total strangers, and I've done crazy and spontaneous things. The rest I haven't done specifically because I'm 15 and can't drive and don't have a job and do not have money. So... what are you like 20-somethings doing with your lives that you're so inspired by this video? This is just... life!

Inspiring video!! It keeps me motivated. Now I do want to add that life isn't a race or competition so no matter how old you get, or when you settle, you can still try for the goals and dreams you always wanted too. I think this video is saying it's better appreciated when you're young and have the energy, but everyone's lives unfold at their own pace and don't be afraid or discouraged if your life isn't going as well as you think it can right now.

I keep forgetting that in the US you don't automatically learn how to drive manual. Here in the Netherlands that is something normal. you actually have to choose a different course if you want to only learn automatic and you will have to take a new test after you passed the automatic test if you want manual. But most of the time people just learn Manual.
