Why I Chose The Murray 21' Walk Behind Mower

I always look for a full metal deck when shopping for a new mower. This 21" walk behind Murray was just what I was looking for. It also had the bigger back wheels, which make mowing a little easier. I got the last one there and had to buy the display model. Regular price was $187.50, and I got it for $135.00! I took advantage of going to New Hampshire and ended up saving over $120.00. It's worth traveling 20 minutes out of your way when you can save like that!

Cheap soda and cheap lawnmowers... definitely more than enough to make a man happy for a good long time! I never even thought to check lawn mowers to see if they put the oil in them or not.. and to change the oil frequently is some good advice indeed!!

Those little push mowers do a good job when you don't need a bagger. Mowing day today for me too, but thunderstorms keep rolling through and I have to time it so I can mow and use the gas trimmer (which I had to re-string the spool for before I could use it) while the lawns are dry. Also the day for cleaning up yard waste and picking up dog droppings from the backyard, bagging up all the catbox litter and other trash for curbside pickup tomorrow. Also did 2 loads of clothes: washed, dried, and folded/hung up. Fixed the dishwasher last night. Too busy today to have any fun. Captain Morgan and diet coke? That ought to smooth out the wrinkles. Great deal on the Murray 21! I had the one with the bag, got the job done cleaner but filled up quickly. Hit a steel block partially buried underground on thick grass and that was the end of it. Repairable but I settled for a Shindaiwa C230 bushcutter with them plastic whips. Light duty one shot every corner over rocks and uneven landscapes. That thing becomes an Uzi, whipping flying debris all direction! I'm always fully geared head to toe. 😅 Many yards here have thick grasses, quite rocky and uneven. My customers then always requested the golf course look.. low cuts.

$135 is not a bad deal for that lawnmower. And brother if you're getting three years out of it that's pretty good for commercial use indeed. And you definitely picked up some good deals on the captain and the Coke. But it definitely looks like the summer season is well underway and I'm sure you're going to be busy. That mower was a great deal. I usually go for a metal deck and an Briggs and Stratton motor. If I saw a deal like that I’d replace mine, it just keeps going though. A cordless blower would be good too!
