The similarity between many words in German and Norwegian is almost the same, so it’s fun getting surprised every now and then in the process of learning German.

And absolutely love your videos, i use Duolingo as well but it’s very efficient to use Youtube and watch your videos as well as using Duolingo.

When I learned that English came from German, I suddenly wanted to learn your language and was amazed that there are really so many English and German words that are alike.

Your slightly unnatural English (it's 99% perfect, I'm Austalian btw) makes me feel alright about learning German. I think your English is very good but occasionally you use sentence structures that don't quite sound perfect for a native English speaker. For example, 'it makes much more of a difference' you used in this video. This doesn't quite sound right to a native English speaker but it makes sense and nobody would pull you up on it in real life. It's humbling to know that my German doesn't need to be 100% perfect for other people to understand me.

Please keep up the good work. I've been watching and following these videos for a year or so and I hope you keep them up. Thanks.

My favorite German word is zusammen. Ich lerne Deutsch because it's sehr schön and I listen to alot of German music. Blutengel started it so, blame it on Chris Pohl 😘 lol I don't have a German partner so that's not my reason but, würde gerne einen finden. 😉

My dad was born in Germany so I want to know my grandpa spoke out. Also I wanted to be able to see German perspective during World War 1 & 2
