This happened to my mum. My dad wouldn’t listen to her, and she’d drop me and my older brother to nursery, but got fired because she had kids (she was a lawyer.) She joined a new job, and still cared for me and my brother. My dad moved to another country (but they haven’t divorced) but I’m happy, because sometimes he could be toxic. Then, she helped me study for hours to get into a grammar school. Now she’s got a new job, and still manages to pick me up. I could be where I am now if it wasn’t for her❤

This person was out there talking to his girlfriend, giving her work, and I stood up and said “hey, you know women’s life story? They have to get labour, give birth, cook, get sick, take care of children, be loving and caring, always have to be joyfu-“ and before I finished, he interrupted me. He said “yeah, yeah, your sooo right. Can you please shut up now?” And the woman was like “listen to her, she’s right!” But he disagreed in a harsh and rude way. 😢

My mother is a mama of 5 girls, whenever she goes to church the old ladies are always like, "oh, it's ok! Next time you'll get a boy." Or whenever we all go out as a family, "oh all girls, try for a boy."
