Armenia’s Pashinyan claims ‘convincing victory’ in snap polls

Armenia's caretaker prime minister has claimed victory in Sunday's snap parliamentary election.
Early results show Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract party is in the lead in an election with voter turnout of just under 50 percent.
If the results hold, it means voters have decided not to reject Pashinyan and his reformist agenda despite anger over last year's military defeat to Azerbaijan.

দাঈ ত্বহা আদনান গুম হলো, আমাদের তখন ঘুম ছিল না, চায়ের দোকান থেকে সংসদ ভবনেও চলছিল এর প্রতিবাদ। অনলাইন অফলাইন ছিল স্বর গরম। দুঃখের বিষয় তেমনি এক নওমুসলিম দাঈ, আমাদের ভাইকে শহীদ করা হলো, কিন্তু আমরা চুপ 😭

অনেক আগেই বেন্ন্য ওরফে ওমর ফারুক ত্রিপুরা সপরিবারে প্রথমে খ্রিষ্টান ধর্ম ও কয়েক বছর পর ইসলাম ধর্মে ধর্মান্তরিত হয়ে স্থানীয় একটি মাটির ঘরে টিনশেডের মসজিদে ইমামতির দায়িত্ব পালন করে আসছিলেন।

“তিনি নিজ পাড়ায় ৩২টি পরিবারের মধ্যে এপর্যন্ত পাঁচটি পরিবারকে ইসলাম ধর্মে ধর্মান্তরিত করতে সক্ষম হন। প্রায় ৩০টি পরিবার তার দ্বারা ইসলামকে দ্বীন রূপে গ্রহণ করেছে। ”

এ নিয়ে কিছুদিন যাবত সন্দেহভাজন জে'এসএস(সন্তু লারমার) সদস্যরা ওমর ফারুক ও তার পরিবারকে হুমকি দিয়ে আসছিল। শুক্রবার রাত্রে এশার নামাজের পর সন্ত্রাসীরা তার বাড়ী ঘেরাও করে তাকে খুঁজতে থাকে। কিন্তু তাকে না পেয়ে দুর্বৃত্তরা মসজিদের নিকটবর্তী স্থানে ওঁৎ পেতে থাকে এবং আজান ও নামাজ শেষে ফেরার পথে মসজিদের সামনেই তাকে ব্রা'শ ফা'য়ার করে শহীদ করে।

আল্লাহ তাকে জান্নাতুল ফিরদাউস নসীব করুক।
