The BEST & WORST Candles of 2024

We are officially almost a third of the way through 2024! Can you believe that?

At the end of every calendar year, I like to compile a "best" and "worst" candles of the year list. However, by the time I put that list together, I've usually tried A LOT of candles and it's hard for me to not be biased towards all of the fragrances I'm enjoying by the later half of the year.

To help me down the road, I decided to put together my list "so far." As always, fragrance is so personal and subjective. I'm sure our opinions will vary, but I thought this would be a fun way to talk about what our favorites (and not so favorites) have been so far.

I agree that Almond Croissant gets funky after burning. My husband already dislikes gourmands and that one I cannot burn when he is home. 😂

I loved Kringle’s Jellybean Jubilee! It was perfection in a jellybean scent in my opinion because it included the licorice jelly bean! I do hope it comes back next year although I do have 2 backups! ❤❤

Hi Katie, hope you had a wonderful vacation. Welcome back! It's really hard for me to pick favorite candles but the number one besides Yankee's Witches Brew that I didn't care for is their outlet one called Spiced Pumpkin Cider, it was really nasty. Yankee started me off my candle obsessed collection too lol. Other Summer scents this year: Goose Creek Hibiscus Fruit Punch, BBW Palo Santo, Fiji White Sands, Coconut Pina Colada, Kringle Fiji, Yankee Home Inspiration Paradise Found, Home Classics Island Getaway, Mediterranean Breeze, Life's A Breeze, Beach Walk, Midsummer's Night. Next month I'll burn Yankee's three wick 18 ounce May Harvest, it's a lemon floral from 2020. Besides getting the car washed by hand yesterday, I stopped at Ulta and bought their brand of candles at half off: Aruba, Bahamas, Montego Bay, and Turks & Caicos. At Bath And Body Works in the mall I bought the Champagne Toast candle. Room sprays: Calypso Clementine, Warm Ocean Breeze, Linen & Lavender, Dark Amber & Oud, Bergamot & Birch, Ocean. Gel soap: Strawberry Peach Sunset, Turquoise Waters, Redwood & Citrus. Foaming hand soap: Strawberry Kiwi, White Tea & Sage. The two freebies: Sunshine Guava-tini, Passionfruit & Banana Flower body wash. Thanks for reading my essay Katie lol, I heard that BBW Summer scents will be coming after Mother's Day. Happy burning.

Hey Katie great video thanks for the review there are definitely some I want to try now from Kringle. Also in my opinion I don’t believe that vanilla coconut surf is a repackage of Santorini coast I was in Bath and body Works today and I smelled them both side-by-side. Santorini coast is actually quite a bit sweeter I love both and if you smell them side-by-side I think you’ll find the same thing

Linen or cotton type scents seem to like sting my nose once they pool out. Idk if that makes sense but it's what I experience 😂
