A quick update on how charging has been after I replaced the locking mechanism for the charging socket on my BMW i3 -14.

Part no: 61136805425, but this was for my TYPE 2/CCS config. Use your VIN to check what part you need! There are different parts here for different regions, for ex TYPE 1 uses a different locking mechanism.

I have a question. I have a BMW i3 215 with DC fast charging. The car charges fine with the regular charging but on DC fast charges, Im getting an error on the DC charging machine saying that there is a charging lock error. I can get it to work sometimes by lifting up on the heavy charging handle.The dealer thinks the locking mechanism needs to be changed even though it appears to be working. What do you think
