Actually, I would have liked an analysis of what the photos DO show, such as what do the red circles mean, etc.

Guy in the middle is Chechen, he is from vostok battalion, the guy on the right is Russian/Ukrainian, if this is infact a special-operation, why would they use Chechen soldier?

I don't think it would be interesting to discuss photos you (nor me) don't know who are on them nor where they were taken. Let's rather reflect on the essential.

To better unterstand the situation around Ukraine just imagine a picture like this. People protesting near the White House in Washington, some of them demanding the president to quit the office, to renounce his presidency(let’s call them ‘one of the opposition groups’, ‘this group’). Then you see Putin’s ‘cronies’ like Medvedev or Rogozin or anyone  supporting this group pronouncing speeches on the place(which did John McCain and some others), feeding these people with bisquits (which did Victoria Nuland). This group yells like ‘F***ing Bush, new Hitler bombing around the world, get out!’. An angry mob bursts into the White House, some people killed, Bush fleeing through a secret issue, the group seizing governmental buildings, new ‘government’ established. President Putin recognize this ‘government’ immediately, he says ‘We stand with the people of America! We are happy to see a triumpth of the democracy in your country! Russia and America are friends, we will make all the possible to help you, brothers’ or something like this. Then the american South which does not recognize the new ‘government’ begins to protest. The new ‘government’ call them terrorists and move military forces closer to them…
 
Have you imagined this? Now think of how much more complicated the situation in Ukraine is! Nearly half of the country is populated by ethnic Russians, many Ukrainians are historically pro-Russian. South-East is populated almost solely by Russians and pro-Russian Ukrainians. This territory, Novorossiya, was a part of Russia for centuries. And given all this, Ukraine is an unitary state!!! It is impossible! The first thing the new ‘government’ did was an attempt to prohibit russian language in the historically russian-speaking areas in Ukraine! Then Dmitry Yarosh, one of the new ‘government’s’ fascists, leader of the party ‘Right Sector’, made an offer on his website to Docu Umarov – a  terrorist and organizer of many terror attacks in Russia -  to come to Ukraine to kill Russians. Moreover, a bit later, he urges the alleged Ukrainian ‘government’ to allow him an access to the military arsenals. What would do people in the South-East? Right! They prepare to repel a possible aggression. People in Crimea, being humiliated all these 20 or so years, Ukrainian government neglecting the region, got sick of all these perpetual revolutions and chaos in Kiev and, adhering to the russian culture and russian history, almost unanimously decide to join Russia via democracy, in a referendum. Russian military forces of the russian navy in Crimea together with Crimean self-defence forces prevented this referendum from possible provocations and aggressions from illegitimate ‘government’ in Kiev as well as from Ukranian fascist bands. No one can impede the love between two (or more) parts of the Russian people, love breaks all the obstacles. And all this talk about illegitimacy of the referendum in Crimea is absolutely irrelevant and too much hypocritical in the situation when the Ukrainian constitution was trashed by a small group of radical opposition (many of them are fascists), representing an absolute minority of the Ukrainian population, which came to power in Kiev through violence and cadavers, and when - I do emphasize this point – when US government and some European countries consolidated this situation of total lawlessness having recognized this new illegitimate bloody ‘government’. In addition to this I would like to remind you that there were many precedents of referendums and separations in the past. Some of these separations were not only unconstitutional but also made sure with bombing the country.
 
 
The country of Ukraine itself is quite artificial, formed after USSR so swiftly collapsed. A counry consisting of such different parts can exist only as a federation or even confederation. There is obviously only one way to resolve this crisis and to conserve the country – make it a federation or confederation. Otherwise the country will split in several parts.

I think that a lot of things will be clear for inhabitants of the West if to explain a word meaning "Ukraine"
"Ukraine" meaning "lands near border" In America it is possible to call this Russian word Ukraine states of New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, California.  All these states American Ukraine. 
Russians can't annex Ukraine because all Ukrainians - Russians. Ukrainians are an ethnos, such Russian ethnoses many tens. Divisions of Russians and Ukrainians - artificial.
